I’m Elizabeth. I created the BOLD Leader Community for women like you and me. It’s what I wish I had available early in my career. But I didn’t. So I learned lessons the hard way, though a lot of sweat and tears.

Do you feel your best ideas are stuck in PowerPoint slides or spreadsheets? Does your strategic vision keep getting lost in the noise of execution?

I’ve been there. In fact, that used to be me.

I was a senior leader at a few top US banks, working hard, getting results, and still - some days - feeling like I was shouting into the void. My ideas were sound. My strategy was sharp. But navigating the politics, the personalities, the cliques, and the unspoken rules? A real maze!

I remember one meeting where I had done all the pre-work and socialization, built the business case, and anticipated every stakeholder's concern. Still, my idea didn’t land.

That was a turning point.

I realized: in corporate leadership, doing the work wasn’t enough. You had to be seen as strategic by the right people.

So, I stopped trying to prove myself through perfection. I started learning how power and influence actually work. I studied executive presence. I build strategic allies. I cured myself of Imposter Syndrome. I learned how to navigate unspoken dynamics with authenticity, not armor.

Then, two years ago, I was laid off.

After 20+ years in the industry, delivering results, positively impacting 100,000s of clients, leading teams of 100+, and managing budgets of $30 million, I was expendable.

It shook me, but it didn’t break me. It woke me up and inspired me.

I made a decision: If the corporate world couldn’t fully see the value of women like me, I would build something for women like us.

I became a coach. I took everything I had learned and created what I wish I’d had: a space where ambitious women don’t have to shrink, translate, or second-guess themselves to lead with power.

And to make sure I wasn’t just building from my own experience, I interviewed dozens of senior leaders - men and women - across industries. I asked them what they had to learn the hard way … and what they see holding others back.

And let me tell you, what they shared was eye-opening. They told me:

• “Work hard” isn’t enough if you’re not visible to the right people.

• Executive presence is often the reason behind who gets tapped for high-stakes opportunities.

• And the biggest regret? Not investing in influence sooner.

That research is built into the backbone of our programs, so you’re not just learning from me. You’re getting the hard-earned wisdom of the people in the rooms you want to walk into.

My mission is to share my wisdom (and the wisdom shared with me) and to inspire myself and others to be BOLD.
